The F.S.C. Made to Measure program allows a client
an amazing amount of control to customize a suit
or jacket to his exact specifications. Working
directly in concert with our tailor and designer
every part of the suit is customized to fit the
client's body. The entire process takes approximately
ten to twelve weeks.
In the first meeting, the client meets with the associate and tailor and
discusses the design of the suit, fits, and fabrics.
Then over 32 Measurements
are taken and the initial order is placed. A fifty percent deposit is required at this time.
In this second fitting the client tries on the actual
raw jacket. The jacket at this stage of construction
is held together with baste stitching and can easily
be adjusted to conform to the nuances of the client’s
body. At this point there is no collar, buttons,
or pockets but the drape and nature of the fabric will
show the essential appearance of the jacket.
The customer tries on a complete suit and pants. Pants
are hemmed, tweaks are noted, and cuff as well as
the jacket buttons are placed.
The client returns for the final fitting. The
suit is finished and every detailed is checked
and re-checked to make sure that it is perfect.
If everything is satisfactory, the client leaves
with his new suit.
